ISLAMABAD: At a luxury hotel on Tuesday, a PTI worker fought with its dissident lawmaker Noor Alam Khan.
When the event occurred, Noor Alam was having iftar at a luxury hotel with PPP officials Nadeem Afzal Chan, Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, and Faisal Karim Kundi.
According to eyewitnesses, a PTI worker verbally attacked the MNA in Pashto before Khan instructed him not to because it was a "family occasion."
Onlookers further said that, despite the MNA's request for decorum, the PTI worker continued to hurl insults at the lawmaker.
According to the witnesses, Noor lost his cool and assaulted the PTI worker after he continued to throw insults at him. This resulted in a brawl between the two. They further claimed that PPP leaders Khokhar and Kundi assaulted the PTI employee.
Noor Alam was one of 20 dissident MNAs who voted in favour of the Opposition's no-confidence motion against Imran Khan, the party's leader.
The PTI has filed a complaint against the dissident MNAs under Article 63 of the Constitution (A). Noor Alam and the other dissident MNAs, on the other hand, did not vote against Imran Khan in the no-confidence motion since the Opposition no longer needed the numbers with the MQM-P swinging in its favour.
Noor Alam, a former member of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), joined the PTI before of the recent elections and won the NA-27 (Peshawar-I) seat in the 2018 General Elections.
