Pakistan cricket team to tour Sri Lanka for Test, ODI series in July

  • Series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will have two Tests and three ODIs.

  • Cricket boards of both countries will announce dates and venues of series after holding consultations.
  • Pakistan will extend their visit to Sri Lanka for T20 Asia Cup.

LAHORE: Following a victorious series against Australia on home soil, the Pakistan cricket team is set to travel to Sri Lanka in July and August to play a Test and ODI series against the Sri Lankan squad, according to The News.

The series will include of two Tests and three One-Day Internationals. Following talks, the cricket boards of both countries will declare the series' dates and locations.

Pakistan's trip to Sri Lanka for the T20 Asia Cup will be extended.

Pakistan will host the West Indies for a three-match ODI series in June before going to Sri Lanka.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) agreed earlier this month to eliminate COVID-19 restrictions, including the bio-secure bubble, for the West Indies series because the country's infection rate had reduced dramatically.

Pakistan will host England for seven T20I matches after finishing their tour of Sri Lanka.
