Amir Khan, a British-Pakistani boxer, was robbed of an expensive watch at gunpoint in East London on Tuesday, according to reports.

Khan described the incident on his official Twitter account, stating he was robbed of his watch while crossing the road with his wife, Faryal Makhdoom, in East London's Leyton.

He claimed the criminals put a revolver at his face before he removed his watch and handed it over to them.

He assured his supporters, though, that he and his wife were secure.

The watch was estimated to be worth roughly Rs20 million in Pakistani rupees, according to the data. It was crafted from 19-karat rose gold and had 719 diamonds.
